The secret to Fitness is to let the mind grow and the body will follow. What’s that mean? If you are exercising and your mind is bored, (ex: treadmill, bike, elliptical machine) you will lose interest and motivation, weakness will creep into your mind. Being repetitive makes your muscles efficient and they will stop growing (plateau). Your goal should be to come to class with the excitement that you will learn something new every time you come in while burning up to 2,000 calories. No two classes are exactly the same. So your muscles will never get used to the same exercise and you won’t plateau. When your mind is growing your body will follow.
